It is the most famous representation of the Last Supper and it could be considerated a masterpiece by Leonardo da Vinci. The church, belonged to the Dominican Order, is recognized as World Heritage Site along with the Upper Room, located in the refectory of the convent. Thanks to a requalification during Expo Milano 2015, the “Darsena” has become one of the symbols of the city: a big navigable stretch of water surrounded by a new open-air market, near the pedestrian area in Piazza XXIV Maggio.
